Hungry Jack Lodge Resort and Campground, a northwoods vacation resort recently rebuilt their main lodge and with the new walls came the need for new stationary, menus, an updated logo, and other marketing materials while keeping that rustic, woodsy charm.
All graphics are custom made just for Hungry Jack Lodge and used throughout all designs to keep the branding consistent.

logo
This logo is the 3rd generation design following the two previous logos that have all featured an illustration of the main lodge. We decided to keep it going with this detailed representation of the new structure.
- Logo illustration and logotype is a 2-color, vector design.
business cards, letterhead, envelope
The new letterhead, envelope, and business card feature the new logo and other vector elements to add some style and match that northwoods branding.
- The 8.5″ x 11″ letterhead is printed 2-color on 70# opaque, white paper with matching “no-lick” #10 business envelopes.
- Business cards are standard size of 2″ x 3.5″ landscape and printed full-color at our favorite printer with a spot varnish to make the logo and photo “pop.” They’re the type of business cards you just can’t wait to give away. :)
dining, appetizer, and bar menus
You know when you go to a restaurant for the first time and upon arriving you take in the environment, you sit down and check out all of your surroundings, then you take a look at the menu – to choose your meal of course – and find that there’s more information about the restaurant there. If you’re like me, I read it and it usually ends up being some interesting table conversation. We did that here on the HJL dining menu with one side listing the available meal options and the other side featuring the unique history of the resort, with pictures of course. And for the bar, we came up with a matching table menu for the drinks and apps.
- Both menus are printed full-color on 70# opaque, white paper then finished off with a thick lamination for durability and extended life-span.
resort and lake maps
There are many activities to partake in at the resort and Hungry Jack Lodge will tell you exactly how to get there with these unique maps. The lake map shows the water depth of the lake and also includes surrounding roadway and sightseeing locations. The visitor’s map is a detailed outline of the resort’s lodging and entertainment locations around the grounds. This unique, hand-drawn illustration not only helps the guests find their cabin or campsite when they arrive it also gives them something fun to look at and serves as a great souvenir for scrapbooks. :)
