We were delighted to receive a request from Georgetown University, where a student-run newspaper has thrived since 1920. Possessing a vast archive of 40,000 articles, the university sought a solution for their current website, which was unable to accommodate the volume of content.
Following discussions with students and faculty, we developed a plan for a modern redesign that would not only improve the website's functionality, but also its monetization potential. Fast forward to today, the website is hosted on a robust platform, generating income for the university, and providing a seamless digital publishing experience for the incoming journalists each year. As we approach our fifth year of maintenance, we are actively exploring ways to further enhance the online magazine, including the integration of Gatsby and Sanity.
