Cathi Murray is a visual communicator with a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication focused on print design and layout, backed by years of hands-on production experience in a professional printing environment. Over seven years in print, she moved from bindery and shipping into pre-press, working closely with clients and the pressroom to ensure files, layouts, and final output were consistent and press-ready. Her career also includes freelance design, branding, promotional materials, and book and magazine layout, including several years as the lead layout and graphic designer for a monthly Minneapolis publication. As a co-founder of 3200 Creative, she supports brand design, website content, and creative production that helps small businesses present themselves clearly and professionally online, with the same attention to typography and visual storytelling that defined her print work.

Cathi Murray is a lifelong artist and visual communicator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication focused on print design and page layout. She brings a strong production background from seven years at a professional printing company, where she advanced from hand-bindery and shipping into pre-press and served as the liaison between clients and the pressroom—ensuring layouts, files, and final output were press-ready and consistent.

Her experience also includes freelance graphic design, branding and promotional design, and book layout, along with several years as the lead layout and graphic designer for a monthly Minneapolis magazine. Over time, Cathi expanded into web design and digital publishing, creating online magazines, blogs, and e-book publications with the same attention to typography, layout, and visual storytelling that defined her print work.

Cathi co-founded 3200 Creative in 2005, where she supports website content, brand design, and creative production that helps small businesses present themselves clearly and professionally online. Outside of client work, she enjoys hands-on creative projects—especially sewing and DIY—along with cooking, gardening, and dancing to electronic music.
